![]() Welcome to Arizona Desert Elementary, home of the coyotes. We H.O.W.L. with pride, given that we are a newer school. Located in the Tolleson district, you can find us in arid suburbs of Phoenix by the 101 and I-10 freeways. We've made great strides to become a terrific K-6 school and we're glad you're taking a few moments to read about us here at our Internet home. Take some time to become familiar with Arizona Desert Elementary. We invite you to visit campus and keep in contact with our teachers. We've also provided a calendar and some helpful links. We appreciate your assistance to help us make schooling a good experience for your child. ![]() Dear Parents/Guardians, The first quarter has flown by! Students recently took reading and math benchmark assessments. Teachers will use the results of these assessments to group students and to assist in planning. They will also conduct data talks in all classrooms, giving students ownership of their benchmark scores and allowing them to set goals for the future. Be sure to join us for our second annual Family Math Night on October 27 at 5:30 p.m. Stations will be set up around our new gymnasium and students and parents will participate in a wide variety of math activities. It’s a great way to get involved! Sincerely,
Brenda Catlett, Principal |
